Since Barbara Donovan established Donovan Court Reporting in 1983, the firm has developed a reputation of excellence by upholding its mission to exceed clients’ expectations and needs.

Donovan Court Reporting, Inc., recently opened new offices in Fort Myers and North Naples to provide expanded services in southwest Florida. As president of DCR, Barbara Donovan is an active member of the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA), the Florida Court Reporters Association (FCRA), and the Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting (STAR).

Barbara A. Donovan is president and owner of Donovan Court Reporting, Inc. She began her reporting career 28 years ago and is a graduate of the American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa.

Upon passing the Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) exam, Barbara moved to Naples, Florida, where she was employed as a deputy official reporter from 1976 to 1982.

Having achieved all her testing certifications at the first sitting, Ms. Donovan is an experienced and accomplished court reporter. She earned her Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) in 1976, Registered Merit Reporter (RMR) in 1988, and Certified Realtime Reporter (CRR) in 1995. Barbara was both the first computer-aided reporter and the first real-time certified reporter in Collier County.
